Kasalehlia! We are the Kihleng family and we are missionaries to the island of Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia. This blog is to keep friends and family (and whoever else is interested!) updated on what we are doing in the islands. So check back here often to see updates on our ministry as well as our ever growing family!

Special Ministry Needs

Many Sunday School classes, Ladies' Ministry Groups, and often individuals or families often prefer to help missionaries on the field with specific needs rather than just send money to the Mission Board.  So we have decided to begin a Ministry Needs List on this page.  These are items that are an extra expense to us and often are difficult for us to work into our missionary budget but are needs for the ministry.  During the summer we usually have many additional needs due to the Summer ministries such as VBS and Youth Camp.  If there is an item on the list that you would like to help with, please message us at rkihleng@hotmail.com so that we can adjust the list accordingly.  Thank you!

Toner Cartridges for our copier - This is an ongoing need as we do a great deal of printing for the church and the Bible Institute.  During the summer we go through even more ink than usual due to printing for VBS and Youth Camp.  The  particular cartridges that we use are:

HP 305A Black OR HP 305X High Yield Black
HP 305A Yellow
HP 305A Cyan
HP 305A Magenta

Usually we find these cartridges to be least expensive directly from Hewlett Packard (HP.com) and I believe they offer free shipping.  They do not ship to Micronesia however.  If you wish to help us with these items, you would need to ship them to your address and repack in a Flat Rate USPS box (cartridges can be removed from the original boxes and mailed in the flat rate boxes just wrapped in the bubble wrap they come it. I believe we have been able to ship up to 4 cartridges in a Large Flat Rate box).

Our mailing address is:

PO Box 2072
Pohnpei, FM  96941

* Since Micronesia uses the US Postal Service, all postage is US postage so does not require more postage than mailing within the US.
